We started as two carpenters doing roof work in south Dublin. Nearly two decades on we still measure everything twice and finish everything by hand.

Another Level is a building company, not a broker. The people who quote your job are the people who run it. We keep a small number of projects open at any one time, which is why our lead times are honest and our sites stay tidy.

Most of our work comes from attics and rear returns in Victorian and mid-century Irish housing stock — awkward roof pitches, party walls, tight access. That constraint is where the interesting detailing lives.

Attic study with bespoke joinery built around the rafters

The transformation of our dark attic into a functional, light-filled office exceeded our expectations. The attention to timber detailing is exceptional.

The O'Reilly FamilyDalkey, Co. Dublin · Attic Conversion

One crew, one site manager, weekly updates. The house stayed liveable the whole way through and the final invoice matched the quote to the euro.

Niamh & Cathal ByrneRathmines, Dublin 6 · Rear Extension

They drew the joinery around the rafters rather than fitting it between them. That one decision gave us an extra two metres of usable room.
